Buteo rufinus
A robust Buzzard, found in Northern Africa, Southeastern Europe, West and central Asia and across to central India. Long-legged Buzzards inhabit open, uncultivated areas, such as steppe, semi-desert and dry scrub. Small rodents are their main diet, but will also take large insects, reptiles and small birds.
