Buteo rufofuscus
The Jackal Buzzard is a colourful buzzard originating from Southern Africa. It can be found along mountain sides and adjacent grasslands and savannah. it can take a wide range of prey such as lizards, ground dwelling birds and carrion, however small ground mammals are preferred, particularly during the breeding season.
